Test Equipment requires periodic calibration to ensure it is working correctly. Unfortunately this can be very expensive and the cost may be impossible to justify for the casual user.

I do not maintain formal traceability on my Calibration Lab. but do regularly cross check it for consistency. If  you have a concern about a particular item of equipment, I can check the performance.
